Photo of a yellow lichen
Xanthoria parietina

Very few species of fungi and lichen have been identified so far. This is partly because the Meadow is not known to be a stronghold for such species and the habitat would suggest that only quite common species are likely to be present but also because no-one with the skills needed has surveyed the site. If anyone would care to add to this list, please pass on your data for inclusion here.

The bryophytes however, received the attention of Dave Wood during 2021 and the impressive list of mosses and liverworts below is entirely thanks to him.
